Bookend: preparation

First, the preparation. As always, a sketch first.

Not everything turned out exactly as on the sketch. And the monkey looks more like a chimpansee than an urang utang.
But it gave me enough of an idea to start with the modeling.

Furthermore, I looked at my fantasy pictures for books, bottles, scolls and scroll-cases so I had them ready when I were going to fill the bookcase.
So the next step was to create the armature.
