Sleeping Dragon

This dragon is inspired by the Sleeping Dragon from Hap Hendriksen, an expert craftsman of beautiful fantasy models.
I've always wanted to model a dragon myself, and this one worked out pretty well, I think.

It has a iron wire skeleton inside, wrapped in aluminium foil and covered with clay. The scales on his body and feet are all modeled separately, each one punched out of a flattened piece of clay with a straw and then modeled onto the body. There must exist a handy tool for doing scales, but I don't have it. So I did it the hard way.
