Armature for a bookend
An easy way to create a bookend is to use a square sheet of metal (copper or something like that)
in which you cut a doorlike shape. Don't cut the sides or the bottom, just the top, left, and
right side of the 'door'. See sketch on the left. After that, bend the frame around the 'door'
upwards and you'll have a nice, sturdy bookend.
The shelves each have a glue strip on one end. The other end is the
front end. You can make each shelf the same size, or you can make
smaller top shelves.
