Modeling details, introduction

If you've your onw figure along with the course, you should now have a fine shaped humanoid figure, dragon or other creature with a nice head, hands, feet and body. If you made a human figure, the only thing that's missing is clothing. If you made a troll or other creature, you might not even need to add that (maybe a lioncloth for decency). But there are some other things you can model too, some details.

Everyone will develop his or her own style, with abstract figures or realistic figures, stylized shapes or very detailed shapes, etc. So, it's up to you if you want to add details or not. I like to add details, because I think they give the models a more realistic look, they add flavor to the model, and the model's more fun to paint.
