Sorceress/Wizard: preparation

The wizard I wanted found an ancient, magic grimoire about conjuring powerful demons. So I want my wizard to stand in a protective circle of candles while conjuring. Also, while it's possible to create a bookstand or table for the book, it's much more fun to create a floating book from which the wizard formulates his magic.

On the next page I'll break down this sketch and show you the 'bone structure' underneath it.
