Materials: introduction
Don't rush to the shop yet! Let me explain some things first.
To follow my clay course you need to have some materials
in the following three ranges:
I'll explain about those three in detail in the next few pages.
The good news is: you don't have to buy a lot of expensive things to work with clay.
You don't even need an oven if you're using air-dried clay or epoxy.

Q: Do I have to buy a kiln?
A: No. Polymer clay is cured by heating it in a regular oven. Depending on the
type of polymer and the thickness of the model it cures at about 130 degrees Celcius (265 F). |
